When will you need a decoder? If you have these phenomenons after the installation, then you need a pair of decoders. 1.While you turn on the light after installation, both of headlights are flickering or one side is flickering.2.Dashboard error and show a “bulb out” signal.3.The bulb still keep lighting for a while although you have turned off the light.4.Lighting is every dimmed, not bright as normally.5.Just one headlight work, the other one doesn't work.6.All of the JEEP Wrangler before 1989 must need the LED CANBUS.You can have the antiflicker harness from this B07QX7J1RV. 2.
